OnPointe Hub is the custom designed mobile app that our studio uses for communications.  Please find detailed below our Privacy Policy for the use of our mobile app.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  April 1, 2026

OnPointe Hub (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with the OnPointe Hub mobile application (the “App”).

We may collect limited personal information necessary to operate the App, including:

• Name
• Email address
• Team-related information (such as schedules, attendance, messages, and shared content)
• Any information voluntarily provided by users within the App

We may also collect basic technical data such as device type, IP address, and usage activity for functionality and security purposes.

We use collected information solely to:

• Facilitate team communication and coordination
• Provide schedules, updates, and team-related content
• Maintain and improve the functionality of the App
• Ensure security and proper operation of the App

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

We do not share personal information with third parties except:

• As necessary to operate the App (e.g., hosting and infrastructure providers)
• When required by law

The App is intended for use by members of a dance team, which may include minors. Information collected is limited to what is necessary for team participation and communication.

Use of the App by minors is expected to occur under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or team administrator. We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children.

We take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information only as long as necessary to support team operations and app functionality.

Users (or their parents/guardians, where applicable) may request to:

• Access their information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete their information

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

OnPointe Productions values the privacy, safety, and positive representation of all dancers, families, and staff. This Media Use Policy outlines how photos, videos, and digital content may be captured, used, and shared in connection with studio activities, events, and competitions.

All photos, videos, and recordings captured by OnPointe Productions staff, contractors, or designated media personnel during rehearsals, classes, performances, competitions, or events are the property of OnPointe Productions and may be used for promotional, educational, and archival purposes.

OnPointe Productions may use media content for, including but not limited to:

• Website and digital platforms
• Social media accounts
• Marketing and promotional materials
• Studio publications and presentations
• Event recaps and highlight reels

All media will be used in a professional manner that reflects the values and standards of OnPointe Productions.

Enrollment in OnPointe Productions programs constitutes consent for the use of a dancer’s image and likeness unless a written opt-out request is submitted.

Families who wish to opt out must provide written notice to studio administration. OnPointe Productions will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests; however, we cannot guarantee exclusion from group photos or event-wide recordings.

We encourage families to capture and celebrate their dancers’ experiences. However, to maintain a respectful and safe environment:

• Media captured by parents/guardians is for personal use only
• Posting images or videos of dancers other than your own should be done with discretion and respect
• No disruptive recording equipment (tripods, lighting, etc.) is permitted without approval
• Photography of any type is not permitted during performances at any Competitions

When sharing content related to OnPointe Productions:

• Represent the studio, dancers, and staff positively
• Do not post content that could be considered inappropriate, negative, or harmful
• Respect the privacy of all dancers and families
• Avoid sharing competition results or critiques in a negative or comparative manner

OnPointe Productions reserves the right to request removal of content that does not align with these standards.

Professional photographers and videographers not affiliated with OnPointe Productions or Competition Host must receive prior approval before capturing or distributing any media at rehearsals or events.

OnPointe Productions is committed to protecting dancer safety.  Families acknowledge that competition results and accomplishments will be published and announced by Onpointe Productions and/or the Competition Host including and not limited to full name, photo, and/or video.  

OnPointe Productions will avoid posting:

• Full names of minors in an unsafe or unprofessional manner
• Content that compromises dancer safety or privacy

By participating in OnPointe Productions programs, families acknowledge and agree to this Media Use Policy.
